We will do so by empowering field staff with the ability to collect and communicate all of their day to day operational data accurately and efficiently on a hand held rugged intrinsically safe mobile computer (device) utilizing a custom full service mobile data software data server solution. 

The device has a fully integrated color digital camera, GPS, RFID receiver, bar code scanner, cellular transceiver,  and is blue tooth and WiFi enabled.

This is  the most cost effective control over manual data handling and transcribing that supports the internal controls over financial reporting (CSOX) requirement at the fundamental level of financial data collection of the static and dynmaic measurement systems employed in the field.

  1. Data can be entered on the device via the keypad, attached as a file to a document or emailed using the on board color digital camera or have asset make, model and serial number or specific sizing and deisgn data available via  a bar code reader or RFID and corresponding database (Maximo/SAP/other CMM).
  2. Having access to any current  operational "Emergency Response Procedures" , daily work instructions, or calibration reports on-line would also be available at any remote location by any device user in the filed.
  3. Having the ability to track man power labor requirements against specific tasks (capital accounts) or specific locations (sites via GPS coordinate indexing) on a daily basis would now be readily available through this same system.
  4. Having access to information at the time that data is captured in the field on the device will allow your corporation to make timely accurate decisions with respect to inventory levels or any other custody transfer activity where SCADA is too costly to deploy or existing manual data gathering routines are slow and prone to transcription errors.
  5. Marketing and customer service will have more timely access to customer account allocation information since netter more timely volumetric data will be available. (manual ticket data)
  6. This same device can also be leveraged to communicate work order or service requests to and from Maximo, SAP or other CMM directly to field personel.
  7. The location of the device can also be tracked via an on board GPS so that the decision as to what rules to apply can be correlated and filtered or automated with respect to worker procedures, priorities or other geogrphically defined operator work processes.
  8. Directions to mainline isolation valves or other prudent emergency response data points can be easily correlated and accessed immediatly based on the users current GPS location.
  9. Data to/from the device can be communicated via existing cellular networks , stored and forwarded or synced via a USB connection  network becomes unavailable. 
  10. Worker activity and location can be tracked to determine whom is in the closest and quickest to respond to an emergency response call.
  11. GPS infromatrion can be used in determining where any worker is located in the event of inclement weather or increased risk due to changes in hazards or new hazards evolving.
